The combination of buttery and flaky croissant with savory fillings makes it a popular choice for breakfast or brunch.
Ingredients
Six medium-sized croissants- croissants from Costco, Aldi, or the bakery department of your grocery store.
1 cup cooked ham, diced
1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, Swiss, or your favorite melting cheese)
Six large eggs
1 1/2 cups milk or cream
1/2 teaspoon mustard (Dijon or yellow)
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Cooking spray or butter for greasing the baking dish
Optional ingredients: you can substitute the ham for bacon, sausages, steak, beef, salmon, or any other breakfast meat. You can garnish your casserole with sliced tomatoes, basil, avocados, red pepper, or green onions. You can use your favorite kind of cheese with this recipe. Swiss, mozzarella cheese or cheddar cheese will also taste amazing!

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish (approximately 9×13 inches) with cooking spray or butter.
- Tear the slices of croissant into pieces and place them in the greased baking dish.
- Sprinkle the diced ham and shredded cheese over the croissants.
- Whisk together the eggs, milk, mustard, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
- Pour the egg mixture evenly over the croissants, ham, and cheese layers, ensuring all the croissants are coated.
- Allow the mixture to sit for 10-15 minutes, giving the croissants time to soak up the egg mixture.
- Bake in the oven for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the center is set.
Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
