Croissan'wich Casserole

A Croissantwich is a breakfast sandwich you can get at your favorite fast food restaurants; now, you can make this delicious Croissantwich breakfast casserole for your next brunch get-together! 

Ingredients

  • 6 medium sized croissants
  • 1 cup diced ham
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • six large eggs
  • 1/5 cups milk or cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish (approximately 9x13 inches) with cooking spray or butter.

  2. Tear the croissants into pieces and place them in the greased baking dish.

  3. Sprinkle the diced ham and shredded cheese over the croissants.

  4. Whisk together the eggs, milk, mustard, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.

  5. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the croissants, ham, and cheese layers, ensuring all the croissants are coated.

  6. Allow the mixture to sit for 10-15 minutes, giving the croissants time to soak up the egg mixture.

  7. Bake in the oven for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the center is set.
