Your out-of-town guests will go crazy when you whip up this easy breakfast pizza using golden, flakey buttermilk biscuits as the pizza base.   This easy recipe can be adapted with your favorite breakfast pizza toppings!  After using these delicious biscuits as your pizza base, you will never want to mess with pizza dough again!

Ingredients Needed

One tube of 8 buttermilk biscuit dough

One tablespoon of oil or one tablespoon of butter, melted.

garlic powder

spinach, black olives, and other veggies can be used for this recipe.

Can I use Crescent Rolls for this recipe?

You can, but I highly recommend using buttermilk biscuits.  You’ll love how the layers of the biscuits get flakey when you slice breakfast pizza!

Equipment

small bowl or a large bowl for pizza toppings

pizza pan or baking sheet

parchment paper or cooking spray

whisk

large skillet for scrambling eggs

pastry brush

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees f

2. Pop open your biscuits and arrange them on a pizza pan lined with parchment paper.  Press down on the biscuits to form a pizza crust.

3. Brush oil onto the crust with your pastry brush and sprinkle with garlic powder.

4. Cook crust in the oven for 9-10 minutes.  Meanwhile, prepare your pizza toppings.  Cook bacon and scramble eggs.  Shred cheese and cut any veggies or other toppings you plan on adding to your breakfast pizza.

5. Remove the pizza crust from the oven.  Add your pizza toppings and bake for another 8-10 minutes.  The crust should be golden brown, and the cheese should be melted.

6. Slice the pizza and cut it into slices.  Serve while still warm.
