Ingredients Needed
2 pounds of fresh brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
1/4 cup of balsamic vinegar
Three tablespoons of extra-virgin olive oil
Three tablespoons of brown sugar
fine sea salt and pepper to taste
1 cup of fresh blueberries
1/4 cup of pine nuts
1/4 cup crumbled goat cheese
Additional Ingredients and Substitutions: You can use honey or maple syrup instead of brown sugar. You can add bacon, pancetta, or garlic for another level of flavor. You can top off this dish with lemon zest or balsamic glaze.
