Can you guess what my favorite thing to eat at a summer BBQ is? Um. Anything that is called dip. Mmmm hmmm.
I usually would never keep a creamy dip in my home. Out of sight, out of mind.
About a year ago, I started replacing mayo and sour cream with Greek Yogurt. It works well. I use Greek Yogurt on tacos, in place of sour cream. I use Greek Yogurt in salad dressings, potato salad, tuna salad, and all sorts of dips!
I saw these adorable little Yoplait Greek Yogurt Cups at Walmart and decided to make my snack-sized dip using garlic and fresh dill from my garden. I think any drop you like would work well in these little cups.
This is a great way to enjoy all the flavors of summer in a fun and healthy way. I love dipping carrots, but any summer vegetable would taste good with this garlic-dill dip.
Greek Yogurt-Garlic Dill Dip- For One
Ingredients
One container of Yoplait Plain Greek Yogurt
3-4 sprigs of fresh dill- chopped
One clove of garlic- minced
One teaspoon of lemon juice
dash of sea salt- to taste
Method
Combine the chopped dill, minced garlic, lemon juice, and salt in your yogurt container. Mix well. Let the dip sit in the fridge for about 5 minutes to let the flavors marinate. Take out and enjoy it!
I loved this dip! This was such a fun way to switch up my favorite snack! I am sure that mixing your ideal “dip mix” with this Greek Yogurt would taste good!

This is fab, also add a little olive oil, delicious and so healthy
great idea!!!
I heard that you could use Greek yogurt in place of sour cream, but not mayo. I hadn’t tried it because I didn’t know if it would turn out. I’m going to now.
I actually just tried their greek yogurt for the first time a few days ago, was pretty tasty! This is a creative use of it though.
We love dips, but we’ve never tried this one yet. I can’t wait to try it. It looks delish!
This sounds awesome and I love that you can make it for one.
Hey, great recipe! It’s amazing how the lemon makes it pop.
Thanks!
