Ingredients
Spiral Ham, you can use whatever size you need. Make sure it fits in your slow cooker with the lid on.
One 16-ounce can of apricot nectar.
Two tablespoons of apricot preserves or apricot jam
One teaspoon cinnamon
One tablespoon of Dijon mustard. Adding Dijon mustard to this apricot glaze gives it a punch of flavor. If you like Dijon mustard, you can add more for an apricot-dijon glaze.
Two tablespoons of brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
Optional: Dried Apricots
If your Ham comes with a glaze mix, you can add that in if you like. It will help thicken the juices.
* Recipe Note- If you are cooking raw bone-in ham, ensure your ham has an internal temperature of 165 degrees f using a meat thermometer.
* Recipe Note- This recipe will also work with peach preserves or orange marmalade if you can’t find an apricot.
Instructions
1. Place Ham in your slow cooker. If the ham isn’t pre-sliced, slice it so the juices will infuse it.
2. Rub the Ham with brown sugar, ground cloves, apricot preserves, and dijon mustard.
3. Pour Apricot nectar over the ham.
4. Cook on low for 4-6 hours.
