aThis pizza cobbler is a true “dump and bake” recipe that tastes exactly like your favorite pizza but is made quickly in your oven in a baking dish.
Pizza cobbler is a delicious and creative twist on traditional pizza. I got the idea for this recipe after I made this chicken cobbler recipe. I love this because it is a true “dump and bake” recipe that your whole family will enjoy! One character flaw we have in the Midwest is turning anything and everything into a casserole. This one turned out too delicious not to share!
My local Aldi started selling premade pizza dough, which I used in this recipe. I know they also sell pizza dough at Trader Joe’s. You can also make your own pizza dough or buy a mix to make your own pizza dough for this recipe. Canned croissant rolls or biscuits will also work, but it will taste less like authentic pizza.
Ingredients:
1 cup pizza sauce
two cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Your favorite pizza toppings (pepperoni, sausage, bell peppers, olives, etc.)
Store-bought Pizza dough- you can make it from a mix, or you can also make it homemade.
two tablespoons of olive oil
One tablespoon of minced garlic
One teaspoon of Italian seasoning

- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees
