Spring and summertime are perfect for bringing this bright citrus-filled bread to your family gatherings. This lemon-lime poppy seed loaf has lemon juice, lemon zest, and lime zest. Storage
You can store the leftovers in an airtight container, freezer bag, or plastic wrap at room temperature for up to five days. I would avoid storing this in the fridge because it could cause the bread to dry out. Please make sure the bread is excellent before wrapping it in any plastic.
This lemon-lime poppyseed bread is so rich tasting that you can easily serve it as a cake instead of bread. This can be served as a simple breakfast on a weekday or dressed up for a bridal shower or a fancy dinner. This reminds me a little of the lemon poppyseed loaf available at Starbucks. ( but the addition of the lemon gives it a massive upgrade. You will love the lime lemon flavor.
