  1. It is healthy!  I will not sit around and tell you not to eat meat.  I eat meat.  I eat meat several times a week.  But adding more vegetables, nuts, seeds, and healthy grains is just right for you.
  2. It will help you raise adventurous eaters.  Introducing your kids to ingredients like grains, beans, nuts, seeds, and vegetables early will help them make better choices when they get older.
  3. It’s Budget-friendly. Serving a meatless meal at least once a week will help decrease your weekly grocery budget.  The cost of doing meat for dinner can add up fast.  Adding veggies to a rice or potato dish is a filling way to serve your family a complete meal.

These meatless dinner ideas I am sharing today will please vegetarians and meat-eaters alike.   Your kids won’t ask you where the meat is when you serve these delicious meals.  These are also great ideas for you to do if you avoid meat during lent.   Vegetables contain a lot of protein, so eating vegetables in the place of heart at dinnertime is good for you!
