I have found myself in the Christmas spirit unusually early this year. I mean listening to Christmas carols before Halloween early. And last weekend I finally realized why. This was the first year in 12 years that I didn’t host Thanksgiving. I passed the Thanksgiving baton to my brother’s wife in Chicago this year, and all I did was show up with some slow cooker creamy corn in tow.
Instead of planning out Thanksgiving, I spent last week, wrapping Christmas gifts, enjoying the snow outside and scouring the Internet for homemade Christmas ornament ideas.
A few years ago, my mom started a tradition where she began making horseradish crusted beef on Christmas Eve. This was an idea she got from a restaurant she loves in the Chicago suburbs. Horseradish tastes excellent with beef. I decided to take this one step further by adding some tomato juice, Worcestershire sauce and TABASCO® Brand Pepper Sauce for a full-on bloody mary pot roast.
Did you know that every bottle of TABASCO® Brand Pepper Sauce is made in Avery Island, Louisiana? Tobasco sauce is that condiment that we like to keep around just in case my husband or I feel the need to spice up our food when having dinner with our three kids. TABASCO® Brand Pepper Sauce tastes excellent on mac and cheese, pizza, quesadillas, eggs and just about anything else you eat!
It’s simple ingredients make it a very versatile hot sauce. TABASCO® Brand Pepper Sauce is Non-GMO, gluten-free and has zero calories.
Right now, you can find TABASCO® Brand Pepper Sauce in the condiment aisle at Walmart.
