Cheddar Bay Biscuit Ham and Cheese Sliders

Perfect for game day, family dinners, or potlucks, these cheesy Cheddar Bay Biscuit Ham and Cheese Sliders are a crowd pleaser and can be whipped up in under 30 minutes.  

Cheddar Bay Biscuits are Red Lobster’s famous drop biscuits made with cheddar cheese, butter, and herb seasoning.  These Cheddar Bay Biscuit Ham and Cheese Sliders can be baked in a casserole dish for a quick, comforting dinner on a weeknight or a quick snack during any game day.   Kids will love these gooey, cheesy sliders!  I recommend serving a salad or fresh-cut vegetables on the side!

Ingredients

Cheddar Bay Biscuit Mix and the seasoning packet that comes with the Mix

Water

Melted Butter

Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Ham Slices

Provolone Cheese Slices or another kind of cheese.

Equipment

8×8 baking dish

Oven

parchment paper

Pastry brush

Cheese shredder

Mixing bowl

Spatula

cookie scoop

Aluminum foil – optional to keep sliders warm before serving.

This recipe layers ham, cheddar cheese, and buttery biscuit dough for a warm, melty bite.

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F.  Grease an 8×8 baking dish with cooking spray or line with parchment paper.

2. In a mixing bowl, prepare biscuit mix with water according to package instructions. Spread 1/3 of the dough evenly into the bottom of the dish. Spread evenly with a spatula.

3. Layer ham slices on top of the biscuit base.  Add slices of cheese.

4. Drop the remaining biscuit dough over the top with a cookie scoop.  Use the spatula to spread it on top.

5. Mix melted butter with the seasoning packet that came with the biscuit mix. Brush the biscuits with the seasoned melted butter

6. Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, until golden and bubbly. Biscuits should be golden brown on top.

7. Let rest 5 minutes before slicing into sliders. Serve warm.

  • 3/4 cup water Or amount of water stated on the box
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 4-6 slices Ham
  • 4 slices Provolone Cheese or your favorite cheese
