Where do you purchase ground pork?

Check the meat department at your local grocery store for ground pork.  I always find it at my local butcher when I am unable to find it at grocery supercenters.  I have also recently started seeing ground pork available at ALDI.

Here in Iowa, we love our Chili with a gooey cinnamon roll on the side!

In some regions of the Midwest, Chili is traditionally served with a cinnamon roll on the side.  This unexpected combination is a classic in parts of Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, and South Dakota.  The origin of eating cinnamon rolls and Chili, according to the Des Moines Register, Marietta Abarr began working as a school cook in 1944.  She became well-known for her home-cooked meals.  Chili was cinnamon rolls was her famous dish.  In certain areas, cinnamon rolls and Chili have been a staple in elementary school cafeterias since the 1960s.

We also love eating pumpkin muffins with Chili in our house!
