Pineapple Yogurt Soft Serve

pine6

I have been a little obsessed with blending frozen fruit, especially bananas to make healthy ice-cream like desserts.  I decided to try something different this time.   Instead of banana based ice cream.  I made pineapple based.  I mixed just two ingredients.  frozen pineapple and plain yogurt.   If this isn’t sweet enough for you, add some honey, but it is not needed.

This is a healthier version of Dole whip.  I ad dole whip last year, while visiting Disney with my girlfriends.

No ice cream machine needed for this soft serve.  It is made in your blender.

Pineapple-Yogurt Soft Serve- Can be made vegan. Just buy that Soy Yogurt instead of Cow’s milk yogurt. Makes 2 servings

In a Blender, Add 2 cups of frozen pineapple with 2-3 tablespoons of yogurt.     And Blend.

  1. I like how easy it is to make this. Blending soft serves is a great way to get kids to eat their daily recommended amount of fruits.

  2. I also use fruits to make frozen treats for my family. I have to leave out the yogurt for myself but I bet the boys would love to try this one out. I love giving them healthier treats to snack on.
