Parmesan Cheese Sauce

by Kristen

This Parmesan cheese macaroni and cheese is one of our favorite dinnertime classics in my home.  This Parmesan cheese sauce is creamy, nutty, and a great way to switch up your macaroni and cheese repertoire.  Adults and kids alike will love this comforting dinnertime classic!

My kids love cheesy noodles.  My two older sons have created their rating system for all varieties of mac and cheese and cheesy noodles they get to eat.    The worst is from a restaurant that I will not name here. All boxed mac and cheese are pretty high on their rating spectrum, and the best mac and cheese, according to them, is Grandma Janet’s.    Your family will love the flavor of this parmesan homemade mac and cheese recipe.  You won’t ever go back to the boxed stuff after you realize how easy homemade mac and cheese is to make!  All you need to do is quickly cook up this creamy parmesan cheese sauce and cook pasta.

When I made this batch of parmesan cheese sauce with al dente noodles, the kids told me that this was just as good as Grandma Janet’s mac and cheese, so I know we have a winner here.

This Parmesan Macaroni and Cheese sauce is such a classic comfort food!
