Ingredients

  • 6 Hot Dog Buns or Hamburger Buns
  • 5-6 Large Eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • lemon zest to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C)

  2. Tear or cut the hot dog buns into bite-sized pieces and place them in a greased baking dish.

  3. In a medium bowl, stir together the eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.

  4. Pour the egg mixture over the hot dog bun pieces, ensuring they are soaked evenly. Let the mixture sit for 5-10 minutes, allowing the bread to absorb the liquids. You may want to toss the mixture to make sure everything is coated.
