Hamburger Bun Texas Toast

If you have leftover hamburger buns from your tailgate or BBQ, you NEED to make this absolutely mouthwatering Hamburger Bun Texas Toast!

Ingredients

  • 4-5 Brioche Hamburger Buns  cut in half
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • fresh chopped parsley
  • parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven to 350

  2. Prepare Garlic Sauce: In a small bowl, mix the softened butter, olive oil, minced garlic parsley, and salt until well combined.

  3. Using a pastry brush, spread a generous amount of the garlic butter mixture on each cut side of the brioche hamburger bun halves.  

  4. Add parmesan cheese if using.

  5. Place buns on a baking sheet and cut side up.

  6. Roast hamburger buns: Bake in the oven for 8-10 minutes or until the buns are golden brown and the edges are crispy.  If you want extra crispy edges, switch the oven to the broiler setting for the last 1-2 minutes. Watch carefully to avoid burning.
