Hawaiian Roll Boston Cream Pies

This easy shortcut Hawaiian roll Boston cream pie recipe will satisfy your sweet tooth but will only require a few ingredients and a few minutes!  

Ingredients

  • 1 package Hawaiian Sweet Rolls
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter

Custard Filling

  • 1 3.4 ounce package of Instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1/2 cup whipped cream

Chocolate Glaze

  • 1/3 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 2 tabelspoons milk more or less

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Hollow out Hawaiian Rolls and brush them with melted butter.

  3. Bake the hollowed-out Hawaiian rolls in the oven in a baking dish lined with parchment paper for 10 minutes until golden brown. Remove from oven and let cool.

  4. Prepare instant vanilla pudding according to the instructions on the box.

  5. Fold whipped cream into the pudding.

  6. Prepare chocolate topping.

  7. Scoop the pudding into the hollowed-out Hawaiian Rolls once the Hawaiian rolls are cooled. Top with chocolate glaze.

  8. Cover and cool in the fridge for at least an hour before eating.

  9. Serve chilled
