Hawaiian Roll Butter Pecan Sticky Buns

These semi-homemade butter pecan sticky buns are melt-in-your-mouth delicious, and they are incredibly easy to prepare!

Ingredients

  • 1 package 12 Hawaiian Sweet Rolls
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/3 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Glaze

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Mix butter, heavy cream, brown sugar, cinnamon, and maple syrup in a saucepan over low heat.  When the butter melts, the mixture should turn into a sauce.  Add the pecan pieces at the end and mix.

  3. Place Hawaiian Rolls in a baking dish. Cut a cross in each Hawaiian Roll. Brush the leftover butter sauce over the rolls with a pastry brush.

  4. Bake in the oven for 10 minutes.  While the sticky buns are in the oven, prepare your glaze by mixing milk and powdered sugar in a small bowl.

  5. Remove sticky buns from the oven and drizzle glaze on top.  Serve warm.
