Dutch Cocoa White Chocolate Chip Cookies

These Dutch Processed Black Cocoa Cookies remind me of an Oreo Cookie, but they are chewy like the chocolate cookies at Subway.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup dutch processed black cocoa
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon corn syrup
  • 3/4 cup white chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Line the baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a large bowl, whisk together dry ingredients. Flour, dutch cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder.  Set aside.

  3. Using a mixer at medium speed, Cream butter, brown sugar, egg, corn syrup, and vanilla in a second bowl. Stir until combined

  4. Add the flour mixture to the butter mixture and mix at medium-high speed until a dough is formed.

  5. Gently add white chocolate chips.

  6. Using a cookie scoop for help, make 1-inch cookie dough balls using the cookie dough and place the cookies 1 inch apart on a baking sheet.

  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes

  8. Remove baked cookies from the oven and cool them before transferring them to a baking sheet.
