Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 pound stew meat cut into chunks
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Greek Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon ground marjoram
  • 2 cans Northern white beans

Garnishes

  • kalamata olives
  • Tzatziki Sauce
  • Pita Bread
  • Tomatoes
  • Feta Cheese

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a dutch oven or a soup pot.

  2. Add chopped onion, celery, and garlic, and cook for five minutes.

  3. Add stew beef and saute.

  4. Add spices, beef broth, crushed tomatoes, and beans.

  5. Simmer on the stove for 30 minutes

  6. Serve.
