Apple Cider Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 cup  sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup softened butter
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/3 cup apple cider
  • 1/3 cup cinnamon and sugar for coating

Instructions

  1. Mix dry ingredients in a medium-sized bowl: flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, and sugar, cinnamon, and set aside.

  2. Using an electric mixer, mix wet ingredients: butter, vanilla, egg, apple cider.

  3. Slowly add dry ingredients to the wet ingredients.

  4. Refrigerate dough for 30 minutes.

  5. Roll dough into balls using your cookie scoop. Coat each ball with cinnamon and sugar and place evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  6. Bake cookies for 10-12 minutes.

  7. Let cookies cool and serve.
