  • 1 pound pork, cut into strips I used thin pork chops
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 tablespoon Hoisin Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 8 ounce container of mushrooms sliced
  • 1 14 ounce bag of coleslaw mix
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 3 green onions chopped
  • plum sauce
  • Asian pancakes
  • 1 egg
  • more soy sauce to taste
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
  • 1 clove minced garlic


Instant Pot Instructions

  1. Using kitchen shears, cut pork into small strips.

  2. Put the pork into a mixing bowl with ginger, hoisin sauce, soy sauce brown sugar, and corn starch. Mix together and set aside.

  3. Set your Instant Pot to the saute setting.

  4. Add toasted sesame oil, chopped white onion, garlic, mushrooms, and green onion. Saute.

  5. Add marinated pork to the mixture and saute, Seer the pork, but it doesn't necessarily need to have cooked through.

  6. Add coleslaw mix and a little more soy sauce if desired.

  7. Close the lid on your Instant Pot and cook on manual for 3 minutes.

  8. Vent immediately, and remove the lid.

  9. Set your pot to saute and stir. Add the egg and stir in.

  10. Assemble your Moo Shu Pork by adding plum sauce to a rice pancake and adding some moo shu pork on top.
