Parmesan Cheese Sauce


  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 teaspoons butter
  • 1 clove minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1/2 tespoon white pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup parmesan cheese


  1. In a saucepan over medium heat melt butter.  Add garlic and saute. 

  2. Add flour and whisk with the butter to make a roux. 

  3. While whisking, add milk.  keep stirring until the sauce has thickened. 

  4. Add salt, pepper and parmesan cheese. reduce heat and keep stirring while cheese sauce thickens. 

  5. Remove from heat and place on steamed vegetables, pasta, potatoes or anything else you like!
