Baked Tortilla Chips with a hint of lime

You can make quick restaurant-quality homemade tortilla chips in your oven in just a few minutes.  These copycat "hint of lime" tortilla chips are crispy and flavorful. 

Ingredients

  • 6-10 corn tortillas
  • 4 tablespoons oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon lime zest
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili lime seasoning salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350

  2. Cut tortillas into triangles and place them on baking sheets lined with parchment paper.

  3. Using a pastry brush, lightly brush oil over the chips and season them with lime juice, zest, salt, and chili-lime seasoning.

  4. Cook them in the oven for 12-15 minutes or until they are crispy and golden brown. 

  5. Let cool slightly before eating and serve. Depending on how many chips you want, you may need to make a few batches.
