I am pretty sure everyone loves pizza. There are so many new ways to enjoy the flavors of pizza without all the bread. Here is another way to enjoy the gloriousness of pizza without all the carbs and all the fuss! Many cauliflower pizza crusts can be delicious, but a fuss to make. I thought it would be delightful to build a pizza on top of cauliflower steak. I have had cauliflower steaks in restaurants several times over the past few years. Cauliflower is a blank slate, and can taste great with a variety of flavors! I created this cauliflower steak pizza with my favorite marinara sauce, fresh mozzarella cheese, and, Margherita® Thick Sliced Pepperoni

Margherita cracker cut items are perfect to have around so you can whip up a quick appetizer or a snack when people drop in for a visit. Although Margherita meats are great with cheese and crackers, they can be used in a variety of different dishes that you and your family will enjoy!

I love making cauliflower steaks! They’re easy, inexpensive, and healthy. Plus, they are a blank slate for almost any flavor you can dream up! Of course, when I dream about my favorite flavors, it almost always includes pepperoni pizza or salami! These pepperoni pizza cauliflower steaks were a delicious way to enjoy my favorite pizza flavors.

If you want to make Pepperoni Pizza Cauliflower steaks you will need:

1-2 Cauliflower heads

olive oil

garlic

salt and pepper

mozzarella cheese

Margherita® Thick Sliced Pepperoni

pizza sauce

How do you make Cauliflower Steaks? Cauliflower steaks are easy to make!

  1. Cut the leaves off the cauliflower head.
  2. Cut through the middle of the cauliflower head.
  3. Cut the cauliflower into 1 1/2 inch steaks
  4. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees f
  5. Brush each cauliflower steak with olive oil. Sprinkle with garlic, salt, and pepper.
  6. Roast in the oven for 15-20 minutes.

Then all you have to do is to add your favorite pizza toppings, like Margherita® Thick Sliced Pepperoni, fresh mozzarella cheese, and your favorite pizza sauce. Pop them back in the oven, so the cheese melts. And that’s it!

I picked up Margherita® Thick Sliced Pepperoni and Margherita® Genoa Salami in the deli department at Walmart. You should also try the Margherita® Hard Salami and Margherita® Italian Dry Salami.
