Thank-you to Stevia In The Raw® for sponsoring today’s post #intheraw. I have been compensated for this post. All opinions are entirely my own.
It has been raining here in Iowa for precisely ten straight days. It. Can. Stop. Any. Time. Now. There is something about the gloomy weather that makes me tired. Plus the Cedar River is getting a little high for my comfort. The ground outside is soft, the pumpkin patch has been closed all of the fall weekends thus far, and our usual crunchy fall leaves are super soggy. UH.
There is one thing about fall that the rain can’t take away from me. A hot, salted caramel pumpkin latte. A latte that is creamy, and doesn’t have a gazillion grams of sugar. Well, this latte is made from a zero calorie sweetener, so it has no sugar. Stevia In The Raw® is a zero-calorie sweetener, perfect for any baking and cooking needs. It contains s from the sweet leaves of the stevia plant.
During this time of year, when you want to sit around and eat comfort food, I like to think of ways to make these said comfort foods with lower calories. For every cup of sugar that is replaced with Stevia In The Raw® can save 700 calories. That will add up, especially if you have a sweet tooth like me.
If you visit Stevia In The Raw® on their website and on social media, you can find some delicious looking recipes that are perfect for fall, Including this Salted Caramel Pumpkin Latte that I made.
This salted caramel pumpkin latte was super easy to make and turned out so creamy! This latte has just two packets of Stevia In The Raw®, which is sweet but not overly sweet. I love the addition of butter to this latte, it makes it so creamy, and it achieves of consistency of a coffee shop latte.
When using Stevia In The Raw® Bakers Bag for baking recipes, it is recommended that the user replaces only about half of the sugar in order to achieve the proper browning, rising and caramelizing that only sugar can provide. You will find instructions and top on their website as well.
I didn’t include instructions on this recipe, because the recipe is actually on Stevia In The Raw®’s website.
You should make this. It will give you some perfect fall comfort on any fall day, whether it is a rainy day or a beautiful one.
