Time for a new “snack on the go”  recipe!   And this one is especially tasty.

I was actually trying to organize my pantry last week, when I realized that I had 4 bags of chia seeds!   My husband and I just keep buying them without telling each other, then they get lost.   We have some serious pantry organization woes in our house.  too many wonderful ingredients. not enough room.   I guess you could consider us lucky.

My husband Greg and I got into Chia seeds a few years ago.   Greg likes letting them soak in water overnight, then drinking it in the morning.  I like to add them to smoothies.   You can bake them into granola or really anything.  They don’t have much of a taste to them, but chia seeds are wonderful.    When you soak chia seeds in a liquid, they expand, and you get a pudding-like texture.

I soaked chia seeds in Silk® Vanilla Protein & Nutmilk Almond Cashewmilk & Pea Protein overnight to achieve this pudding.   This made a fantastic -on-the-go breakfast and would make a delicious snack too!

Silk®Vanilla Protein & Nutmilk Almond Cashewmilk & Pea Protein and Silk® 2g Sugar Protein & Nutmilk Almond Cashewmilk & Pea Protein are new products by Silk®, and they are now available at Walmart.   I picked up mine, while shopping at Walmart.  I used the Silk® Vanilla Protein & Nutmilk Almond Cashewmilk & Pea Protein variety. But I think that either flavor would work with this recipe.

I have always loved Silk® products, because they are made with no artificial colors and no artificial flavors.  I have literally been enjoying Silk® products since college.  and I graduated from college a long time ago.   Plus, I love using Silk® milks for my smoothies and to just drink plain.   These new Silk® Vanilla Protein & Nutmilk Almond Cashewmilk & Pea Protein is packed with protein, 10 grams of protein from 100% peas.

Silk®Silk Vanilla Protein & Nutmilk Almond Cashewmilk & Pea Protein and Silk® 2g Sugar Protein & Nutmilk Almond Cashewmilk & Pea Protein were both delicious!   You can find more amazing recipes using Silk® products visit Silk’s social hub.
