It’s a new school year! I have TWO kids in school three days a week! My two-year old is spending three mornings a week at Preschool and my four-year-old is in Pre K – and is staying at school until 2:00 !!!
This means, I have to pack him a lunch. And you know what? I feel the pressure! I have been on Pinterest long enough to know that there are people to spend a lot of time cutting cheese and vegetables with mini cookie cutters for school lunches. ( something I refuse to do, by the way).
But I still want my son’s lunch to be tasty, and healthy. I think it is really important to send food to school that he will actually eat too.
I have started posting my son’s lunch boxes on my Instagram and Facebook Pages. You will get to see the cute, the good and the just plain ugly ( hopefully not too ugly) lunches that I send to school with him.
Here are some fun- child-friendly recipes from my blog that I think any child would enjoy in their lunch. You can pair some of these recipes with store bought items or your child’s favorite sandwich- so they look forward to eating lunch at school.

8. Tuna Melt on an Apple Slice – You could make this sandwich out of Turkey or Chicken too
11.) DIY Yogurt Dip
18. DIY Fruit “Go Gurt”
Hope you enjoyed my lunch ideas!
