When my family gets together, we love to have an appetizer spread.    I love putting together food that is delicious, but also easy.   These Sausage and Gouda Stuffed Dates only use three ingredients and only take a few minutes.

I used Jimmy Dean® Roll Sausage in these Sausage and Gouda Stuffed dates.   I also used it in the recipe below- A Sausage Smashed Burger.   Both of these sausage recipes were a big hit with my family.  ( well, of course, they were, sausage tastes terrific.)

I purchased this Jimmy Dean® Roll Sausage at Meijer, and used the Original flavor in the Sausage Smashed burger, and I used  Country Mild in these yummy Sausage Stuffed Dates.

Check out their website to find entertaining and delicious looking recipe ideas.

If you look at their website, you will find so many fun ideas that don’t have anything to do with breakfast!

These Sausage and Gouda Stuffed Dates couldn’t be more natural.  They only took a few minutes to whip up.

I loved how both my four- year- old and two- year- old son’s gobbled these up!    They also loved this next recipe much more than I expected!

As a way to show how sausage can be used in everyday recipes, Jimmy Dean® asked me to make their Sausage Smashed Burger- A method that they provided me with.   I live in Iowa, so the idea of a pork burger is normal.  But, I had never thought about making a Sausage Burger before.

This recipe was delicious.  It was the perfect balance of flavors- with lots of added veggies to the sandwich to even out the richness of the sausage.
