Smoked Cheddar Mashed Potatoes can be served family-style or in these cute little ramekins. They are rich tasting and will make an excellent addition to any holiday spread. #CrystalFarmsCheese
I have been posting a lot of holiday recipes these last few weeks. What can I say? My family loves to eat during the holiday season.
Arranging an impressive spread during the holidays does not need to be hard! You don’t need to cook anything fancy in order for your family to love it!
These smoked cheddar mashed potatoes are a GREAT way to impress your guests! AND they take just a few minutes to make!
I used Crystal Farms Cheese for these mashed potatoes. At the last minute, I decided to use the Smoked Cheddar Cheese. But any of these flavors would taste phenomenal in mashed potatoes. My one-year-old loves cheese and was very partial to the Gouda.
I can tell the difference between cheese that is just okay, and good quality cheese. All of Crystal Farms Cheese varieties tasted really great I love that Crystal Farms is located in Wisconsin. Wisconsin is where my family vacations every summer, and we love all Wisconsin cheeses, especially smoked cheddar.
You can find Crystal Farms in the refrigerated section of your grocery store.
Serving Mashed Potatoes is usually a crowd-pleaser. The kids will gobble it up, as will the adults. Add as much cheese as you would like, the more the better.
I like to mix up my mashed potatoes in the food processor.
Smoked Cheddar Mashed Potatoes
6 Large Yukon Gold Potatoes
1/2 cup of chopped bacon
1 tablespoon of chopped parsley or chives
2 tablespoons of milk
1 tablespoon butter
3/4 cup of Crystal Farms Smoked Cheddar
salt to taste
Method: Peel the Potatoes. Chop them and boil them until soft. Let cool slightly. Place them in your food processor with cheddar cheese, chopped bacon, parsley, salt, milk, and butter. Pulse in your food processor until they are mostly smooth. If you are serving these family-style, you can serve. You can garnish with parsley or chives.
