Melting Snowman Smoothie

Melting Snowman SMooth100

I love all those cute foods you can make with your kids. But I hate that a lot of them call for Sprinkles, colored frosting and marshmallows.

I made this melting snowman smoothie using only healthy ingredients. It turned out tasty. Actually, I was cutely interrupted during my photography session.

I used bananas, milk and vanilla to make my smoothie. You can add any “White Ingredients” to yours. yogurt, coconut, coconut milk or coconut flakes would also make great additions. I used a small piece of carrot for the nose and mini chocolate chips for the eyes. You could also use raisins or whatever you like.

I used grape stems for the snowman’s arms. We usually have grapes in the fridge, so that was easy. Hopefully your kids would know not to eat them. You could also use pretzels for the arms.

Ingredients
1-2 frozen bananas
1/2 cup of milk
1 teaspoon non alcohol vanilla
1 small piece of carrot- for the snowman’s nose
5-10 mini chocolate chips- for the eyes, mouth and buttons
grape stems for the arms.

Method: In your blender, blend 1-2 frozen bananas with milk and vanilla. Once you get a smoothie, pour the smoothie into your glass and top with melting snowman items.

This was so fun. I am going to do this again once the holiday season gets rolling.
