Crispy Sriracha Chicken

siracha

Adding Sriracha sauce AND yogurt is a great way to add a little kick to your chicken.  The yogurt calms the siracha down in a way that is enjoyable for everyone.

I love spice.  My family might laugh at me when I make that statement.  Some members of my family don’t think I can handle the heat.  But I can just as long as it’s the right kind of heat.

Like Curry.  Mixed with sticky rice.

And Siracha. Mixed with Yogurt.

Siracha Yogurt Crispy Baked Chicken

Ingredients

lb Boneless Chicken breast Cut to your desired size

1/2 cup of Greek Yogurt

1/3 cup of Siracha Sauce

1 cup of Italian Breadcrumbs

Follow these easy steps.

Siracha10000You will want to bake your Crispy Sriracha Chicken at 400 for 20 minutes- OR until your desired crispiness level is achieved.

Okay, I will admit.  I was a little reluctant to eat this chicken.  But the spice level was perfect.  Just enough.

A Note:

This method of cooking chicken can be used with other sauces as well.  Homemade Honey Mustard crispy chicken, BBQ Sauce crispy chicken, and Marinara sauce crispy chicken prepared this way are all very good!

Do you use plain greek yogurt or is vanilla ok?

Kristen December 7, 2015 - 3:23 am

You can use Plain greek yogurt or plain regular yogurt. I don’t think vanilla would work though.

Which do I apply to the chicken first? The sauce or the breadcrumbs?

Kristen September 14, 2015 - 2:08 pm

Sauce. Coat the whole piece of chicken.the breadcrumbs will then stick to the sauce 🙂
