I feel so accomplished when I pack make-ahead meals for family outings. I like having healthier foods to eat for when we are traveling or just out and about. This summer, my family has spent our weekends adventuring to all kinds of places. Chicago, Wisconsin, and we have been visiting multiple state parks around Iowa for little adventures. Just in the last few weekends, my family has visited Backbone State Park, Steamboat Rock Park, Pine Lake State Park, and the Wildcat Cave Access.
We love packing food and enjoying it outside. We love having picnics as a family while out and about. Plus, my husband and I always like to stock up on some coffee drinks for these trips.
Kum & Go® gas stations have started carrying Dunkin’ Donuts® Iced Coffee. These are the perfect pick-me -up while discovering Iowa with our three kiddos. I was able to pick up some delicious flavors in Iowa City the other week before our adventures started. I found them with the cold coffee drinks.
Right now, you can save money when you join the Kum & Go Rewards program.
The flavors that are available include: Original, French Vanilla, Mocha and Espresso. They’re all delicious.
These Dunkin’ Donuts® Iced Coffees are the perfect beverage to enjoy with these Yogurt Parfait Meal Preps. I love how you add the granola and fruit to the yogurt as you eat them. This way, all of the yogurt toppings don’t get soggy when you store them in your fridge or your cooler.
You can literally add any yogurt toppings you like to your yogurt parfait meal preps. I added some of my kid’s favorite fruits, along with nuts, granola and chocolate chips.
Yogurt Parfait Meal Prep
Yield is 4
1 16 ounce container of yogurt
8 strawberries, sliced
1 cup of blueberries
2 bananas, sliced,
1/4 cup of pecans
1/4 cup of chocolate chips
1/2 cup of granola
Method: In each Meal Prep container, add 1/2 cup-3/4 cups of yogurt. In the meal prep compartments, add the toppings. Keep fruit together and dry toppings together. Add a spoon to each meal prep, and cover with the lid. Keep cool in the fridge or the cooler until you are ready to eat it
This Yogurt meal prep was a huge hit with the family! This was a breakfast they really looked forward to eating. And of course, my husband and I enjoyed our coffees too! Don’t forget to check out Dunkin’ Donuts® Iced Coffee at Kum & Go®, and join their Rewards Program too!
