I have combined a few of my favorite things as of late to bring you this recipe.
- Asparagus. Man, asparagus just reminds me of spring. I literally cannot wait to get this fresh.
- My Instant Pot. and I think right now, making soup in my Instat pot is my favorite thing. It takes no time at all!
- My new bowl. I got this a few weeks ago at a fund raiser for the Northeast Iowa Food bank. A reminder to me that eating simple foods is not only beneficial to our health, but that eating simple, natural ingredients help us to stay humble.
If you have never volunteered to make an empty bowl or attend an empty bowls event for hunger, you should. It is a great fundraiser. ( no, no one is paying me to say this.)
Here is a video tutorial on how to make this soup. If you’re new to using an Instant Pot, it is nice to see how it works.
