Can you believe that before yesterday, I had NEVER used an online grocery service before? I cannot even tell you how incredibly easy it was! I think my favorite part was- that I didn’t forget anything on my list.
You see, for the last two-weeks, my four-year-old has been requesting two things. Homemade lasagna and rice cereal treats. Even with multiple trips to various grocery stores over the last few weeks, I still couldn’t get all the ingredients together to make either of these recipes!
On Tuesday, I went to make this requested lasagna and I had only ONE ingredient for it. Ricotta cheese. No eggs, no sauce, no lasagna noodles. Sometimes I feel like being a busy mom can be overwhelming.
I actually really enjoy grocery shopping, but sometimes, when the weather is bad I just hate dragging my kids out to stores just to pick up a few items.
I decided to give Hy-vee Aisles Online a try. I ordered from my local Hy-vee, here in Cedar Falls, Iowa.
I was really impressed at how easy it was to create an account on Hy-vee.com. I assumed that I would be online for a while, placing my order. But, actually no. I wasn’t. My whole order took about 10 minutes to place.
When you place your order, you can choose to have it delivered or you can pick it up. For me, it was more convenient to pick it up, just before picking up my older son from preschool. You will want to indicate which hour you plan on picking up your order.
You will receive an e-mail when your order has been successfully placed, and a reminder e-mail the morning of.
When you get to Hy-vee to pick up your groceries. Find one of these parking spots and call the number on the sign. I did, and my order was brought to my car in less than 5 minutes.
Hy-vee is also giving me a $50.00 gift card to giveaway to one of my readers!
Good luck. This giveaway will be open for one week!
I loved my online shopping experience with #Hyveeaislesonline. I really plan on using it most before hosting holidays and parties. What a time saver!
Here is to having all the ingredients for the much anticipated lasagna!
