My favorite apple of all are green apples. I love how tart they are. ( or maybe it’s because I loved green apple blow pops as a kid)
Well anyway, the other day, I was feeling a little groggy, so I decided to make this natural pick-me-up for breakfast. I included several handfuls of spinach. This was a tasty way to eat my greens!
This smoothie turned out sweet and wonderfully tart.
Green Apple Smoothie
1 green apple, peeled and sliced
1/2 frozen banana
1 packed cup of spinach
1/2 cup of almond milk or another milk of your choosing
Method: place all of the ingredients into a blender and blend until you get your desired consistency. If it’s too thin for you, add more frozen banana
This was so good. I really need to make smoothies more often!
